oh the things one can do while procrastinating

today while i was procrastinating instead of writing a paper, i came across these acne pics. i adore the laid back and comfy, yet edgy look of their clothes.

some other things i did while procrastinating were: having a dance party to ke$ha by myself (my roomie cayla didn't want to join- why?- the answer just boggles my mind), watching random videos on youtube, finishing other homework assignments, searching for pics of when i was in 6th grade.. and the list continues. it was quite the productive day!

i saw these photos and immediately became obsessed. i mean who wouldn't love an editorial with tophats, sequins, corsets and pinecone accessories!?! lily allen looks ridiculously awesome. i also really like how they used the scratchy letters to the cover- it really adds to lily's edgy look.

hello all! sorry for being so M.I.A. this week. things have been crazy ever since school started. my schedule is really busy and i have already been loaded with work. it's only been a few days and i am already exhausted. while procrastinating briefly last night (i was shopping online to pick up my mood) i came across these booties on needsupply. they look like so much fun to prance around town in with skinnys and a huge tee. on another topic, i have been working on a little project to brighten up my dorm room (which i have decided looks very bleak). i am probably about halfway done, but i will be sure to post a picture of it when i am done!

yesterday i took advantage of the 50 degree weather to explore the countryside and take pictures. my photos were taken at oregon ridge park and at random farms that i pulled up next to. it was a lot of fun driving around farmland listening to the almost famous soundtrack.

new vamp weekend cd came out today and i cannot stop listening to it. my favorite song on the cd is taxi cab- it has such a sweet little melody in it. you can hear the entire cd at vampireweekend.com

currently reading:

went on an adventure to barnes&noble yesterday and picked this up. i'm kinda obsessed with his blog and thought that this would be a good addition to my book collection.

currently eating:

over break i have had countless dentists/orthodontists/teeth surgeons play in my mouth, so i'm a little sore. it's sad that i'm in pain, but i love pudding and ice cream so it's all ok.
