last few days in baltimore

yesterday my friend dani and i went exploring baltimore in search of vintage shops and boutiques. we went allover the city. unfortunately the extent of our travels was a little much, as we ended up getting lost for hours trying to find different places, but we had fun anyways!

dani wasn't pleased that i kept forcing her to pose for pictures as you can see, but she looked too cute to not be photographed.

in exactly 1 week i will be back at school! i am so excited to be reunited with my friends and start my new classes (maybe that not so much). one of the things that i am most looking forward to is going out dancing with my girls. we always have so much fun being absolutely ridiculous on the dance floor. since i have been going through dance withdrawal, i decided to have my own dance party in my room. mind you, i am not a good dancer. and in case you were wondering, i was listening to the likes of katy perry and passion pit. quality.

when you wish upon a star. . .

as of yesterday i am officially 19! i had a very chill birthday with the fam. we saw despicable me, i took a nap and ate dinner at my favorite restaurant, Pazo. i got some very cool presents, but one of my favorites were the blackmilk galaxy leggings. they are even more perfect than they look online (and i am not exaggerating in the slightest bit- i mean who can resist leggings printed with a picture from NASA?!). i couldn't help but put them on immediately.

I absolutely adore these shorts. Yes, they are shorts and not a skirt. I was pleasantly surprised when trying them on in the store, for what i thought was a cute tie dyed skirt was actually a pair of chic and comfy shorts. Clothes with detailing or suprises like this are my favorite. They make wearing an outfit so much more exciting by adding a funky twist.

Free People came out with their new "vintage loves" collection today and it is just divine. Each piece is vintage perfection. These are a few of my favorites, but truly, I love almost every piece.

flash back a few years ago to the first sex and the city movie. remember that white and black 3D rose jacket carrie wore when charlotte had her baby? well, that jacket was my favorite piece of clothing from the entire movie. still to this day, i find it exceptionally gorgeous. much to my excitement, brands such as free people and american apparel (see pics below) have come out with their own versions of this coat. i can't wait to get my hands on one- i have been pining for something similar to carrie's since sex and the city came out.

yeah, i looked this cute today while lounging around the house doing homework. HA. good one.

just read this and LOVE it. its really funny and has some great advice in it. i highly recommend it to all those who haven't gotten their hands on a copy yet.

i've been thinking that these need to be bought for the upcoming year. they look super comfy, cute and durable- making them exceptionally perfect for class this fall.

this jean shirt is probably one of the best items that i have bought all year. i have to try very hard not to overwear it, as it goes with pretty much anything. the only clothing i have a difficult time pairing it with is jeans. i know that jeans on jeans is "in" right now, but for some reason it just doesn't feel right. i guess not ever style/fad is for everyone so it doesn't really matter anyways.

i watched this for the first time yesterday and absolutely fell it love. it was so funny, quirky and cute that i was laughing/giggling the entire time. brittany murphy was such an excellent actress.
