just watched moulin rouge. its one of the only movies that can make me cry (cayla found that out tonight) and i could watch it over an over and never get bored. the songs are like chocolate and even though the "message" is cheesy, i still love it.

after a car ride that felt like a week, i made it back home! its totally weird being in my "room" that has not been inhabited by me since august. but anyways its good to be back, even though i already miss all my friends from 'cuse.

love.actually.is.everywhere

so in excitement over the upcoming holidays, i decided to watch one of my favorite movies- love actually. this is probably the sweetest movie in existence and it makes me extraordinarily happy. PLUS it makes me ever so anxious to see my friends and family at home. i miss them all very much even though i am having an amazing time up here in syracuse. ONE more day until i go home for break :)

while sick, my roomie cayla picked up a copy of vanity fair, which just so happens to feature robert pattison. in our excitement over new moon (and just because we think he's hot) we decided to decorate what was once a blank wall in our dorm with photos of him. while tearing photos out of the magazine, we thought why stop with robert!? emma watson was a definite necessity for our wall. she is just amazing.. i mean how many people can pull of being hermione granger and a model for burberry? answer: not many. oh and then james franco is the new addition to the wall above my bed. :)

thank god its friday. i truly have no idea what i would do without a break because all of this course scheduling is making me want to explode! i will avoid a venting session of my troubling schedule and instead attempt to move forward and enjoy the lovely weekend ahead of me. going home in 4 days!!

is it spring yet?

as its starting to get chillier outside, my mind is wondering not to thanksgiving break or christmas break, but rather spring break. yes this break happens to be MONTHS away, but i can't stop thinking of the warm sun. last spring break seems like eons ago and all i want to do is go sailing in one of my favorite places. mind you, i don't want to skip my entire freshman year of college- i'm just missing my fave vacation spot.

got an AMAZING package from california yesterday filled with yummy goodies and other fun things. i can't get over how fun the outside of the package is... and how delicious the cookies are :) freshman fifteen here i come!!

i lovee fall in syracuse. the weather is ridiculously bipolar considering it snowed last week and when i took these pictures it was 70 outside. but anyways, its so pretty outside with colorful leaves everywhere... and even blooming flowers (!).
