tonight i saw the princess and the frog with a bunch of friends. it is such an adorable movie. truly i wasn't expecting it to match the romance and excitement of the classic disney movies, but it did, and i am really glad that all my doubts were vanquished- it was so much fun to watch! so keeping up with tonight's theme of cute romances.....

the day after..

one of my favorite parts of christmas is the day after christmas. the holiday stress is gone, while the holiday cheer remains. today has been a mix of hot apple cider, reading by the christmas tree and other relaxing things. it has been quite wonderful. i hope everyone had a super christmas! i know i did! oh, and i think i'm going to try experimenting with outfit posts... we'll see :)) (any tips would be greatly appreciated!)

holiday fun

last night i arrived back home! after my first homemade meal in weeks, me and the fam decorated our christmas tree. i wasn't home to pick out a tree, but i must say everyone did a pretty good job choosing one without me. now with the christmas tree decorated, the family fudge made, presents bought and christmas music playing i am super ready for christmas!! i can't wait :)

i apologize for all of the posts about snow. BUT i think this is kind of really important... my mom just sent me this picture of my dog Coco with the caption "our own abominable snowman". i am ridiculously obsessed with this dog.

moving on from the snow... last night was an epic 2nd to last night of my first semester of college. i FINALLY saw debbie after what felt like ages. we had some amazing adventures at the sheraton (her dorm was evacuated thanks to some flooding or something). to sum up our night, we ordered room service, sang christmas songs, sang channukah songs, googled things that probably should not be googled, watched the notebook, ate junk food, watched the SU basketball game (go cuse!), etc. it was a glorious night. i'm going to miss her so much over the holidays!

it's snowing like crazy down in baltimore right now! this shocks me since once again it is not snowing up in syracuse. i am extremely confused since it is supposed to be constantly snowing here and not down there. hmmm i wonder if it will snow up here when i go home for the holidays... we'll see.. maybe i'll come back to school and will find a snowy campus!

finals week officially has begun

things are quite stressful up at syracuse. finals are officially here and everyone is completely exhausted from all nighters. everything is crazy... sooo much is going on right now! but as usual, i'm trying to keep a positive outlook on everything because usually everything ends up turning out for the best or at least ok.
